Mr. Hua The Duc is currently Country Director at MD1World – American Medical Foundation and CEO of Shine Group, operating in food and pharmaceutical ingredients.
He has over 25 years of experience in Pharma, Biotech, Food Ingredients and Consumer Markets, having held senior leadership roles such as Chief Strategy Officer of AIG Holding, CEO of ACC – a leading Food Ingredients company in Vietnam, and President of AIC Asia Industrial Chemical.
He has led many IPO, M&A and restructuring projects, notably growing ACC revenue from USD 92 million to about USD 300 million, and implementing international partnership strategies with global groups such as Givaudan and Sanofi.
He was also Senior Assistant to the Founder & President of NovaGroup, advising on ecosystem development strategy in F&B, healthcare, wellness and digital strategy.
Previously CEO of biotech company SelectBiotics in France, taking part in many scientific research programs and international technology collaborations. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry & Immunotechnology from the University of Montpellier (France) and several postgraduate degrees in management and business strategy.
