Mr. Ly Minh Hoang holds a Bachelor of Finance (International University), a Bachelor of Law (Ho Chi Minh City University of Law) and a Master of Public Policy (Fulbright University Vietnam). He is a CFA Charterholder (USA), ACCA Charterholder (UK), and holds an M&A certificate and the Advanced Accounting Diploma (UK).
He has 15 years of experience in finance, investment, risk management and business advisory. He was Senior Finance Specialist, Investor Relations Manager and Supervisory Board member at Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (Sabeco, Vietnam’s No. 1 beverage group), and Head of the Supervisory Board of Saigon Beer Packaging JSC and Chuong Duong Beverages JSC. He managed an investment portfolio of over VND 5,000 billion with more than 50 investments, and took part in Sabeco’s restructuring and the 2017 sale of the State’s stake in Sabeco to ThaiBev worth USD 5.3 billion (Vietnam’s largest M&A deal). He was also CFO of Lavi Holding JSC (agriculture & manufacturing).
He is currently Co-Founder, CEO and CFO of BeeKrowd JSC (since 2019) and Bees Incubator JSC (since 2022) – firms providing strategy, finance, fundraising and M&A advisory for startups, SMEs and emerging sectors such as Blockchain, Web3, AI and new technologies.
He serves as an independent board member of several companies in Vietnam and abroad, and is a member of the Vietnam Independent Directors Association (VNIDA) and the Vietnam CFO Club.
