Mai Viet Hung Tran

Mai Viet Hung Tran is the next General Director, with effect from 1 July 2023. Tran succeeds Dinh Thi Quynh Van, who has served as General Director for the past 12 years.
Tran is currently the Assurance Leader for PwC Vietnam, a role he has played since 2019. He has over 29 years experience in auditing, accounting and management through construction and real estate, manufacturing and services, hospitality as well as the entire sale and retail industry. Tran’s core expertise lies in the area of assurance, International Financial Reporting Standards and Vietnamese Accounting Standards. Under his leadership, the Assurance practice has grown significantly and built up a portfolio of audit clients including many local companies and multinational corporations.
Tran is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) Australia and member of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA). He holds a Doctor degree in Business Administration from EU Business School, an MBA degree from Henley Business School (UK) and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance from University of Economics (Vietnam).
