Work Experience

  • Mr. Pham Ngoc Hoang Thanh is currently Chairman and CEO of Smart Train Academy, which specializes in training for international accounting and finance qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CFA, CIA, CTP, FPAC and IFRS. He is a Steering Committee member of the Vietnam Chief Accountants Club (VCCA) and an Executive Committee member of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Accountants (HAA).
  • Previously, for nearly 8 years, he was Head of External Relations and a Standing Executive Committee member of the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA), Vietnam’s official representative at the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
  • He has over 25 years of experience in consulting, audit and management at reputable companies such as Shell, EY, Lac Viet, Asian Services and Smart Train Academy.
  • He holds a Master of Finance from Webster University (USA) and has for many years been a visiting lecturer in accounting and finance at universities in Vietnam and abroad, such as Troy University, Maastricht, Benedictine University, Hoa Sen University and Ton Duc Thang University.
