Ms. Le Uyen Thao is currently the Sales Director of YEAST ERA Company. With nearly 10 years of national management experience at large corporations such as Unilever and Vinamilk, along with 15 years of actively participating in community, creative, and volunteer activities, Ms. Thao has built an impressive career.
She is the founder of TEDx Da Nang and the “Iced Tea for the Community” campaign. Ms. Thao has also made her mark through a series of successful initiatives and product implementations, including P/S Activated Charcoal Toothpaste, Close Up, and Vinamilk’s Probi Drinking Yogurt.
In addition to her corporate roles, Ms. Thao is actively involved in supporting startups to access the market, working with companies such as DH Foods, Vua cua, Coolmate, Grandma Lu, and Nada Oils.
Currently, Ms. Le Uyen Thao holds several strategic leadership positions in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, including:
Senior Manager of Partnerships & Business Development – TV HUB Entertainment & Media Group (Shark Tank Vietnam)
General Director of Vietnam – ASIA Circles (importer and retailer in Asia)
Director of Business Development – Yeast Era JSC (Vietnam’s leading biotechnology company) – Champion of the 2024 National TECHFEST Startup Competition
Deputy Executive Board – Phan Trong People’s Armed Forces Hero Social Work Fund Binh (under the Ministry of Home Affairs)
Ms. Thao’s outstanding achievements have earned her prestigious recognitions, such as being ranked #1 Female in the field of Tech & Innovation in Vietnam and being among the Top 8 LinkedIn Creators in Vietnam with over 24,000 followers and 130,000 multi-channel followers.
She is also an active mentor, judge, and speaker for various prestigious startup competitions and academic institutions, including AIESEC, FPT University, RMIT University, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, Foreign Trade University, Diplomatic Academy, Ho Chi Minh City National University, and Danang University of Economics.
Ms. Le Uyen Thao holds two Bachelor’s degrees with honors in Business Administration from Penn State University, USA, and International Relations from the University of Foreign Languages – Danang University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the Vietnam – Netherlands Program (VNP) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics in collaboration with the International Institute for Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
