Prof. Tuan Q. Phan is an Associate Professor of Marketing, Innovation & Information Management at The Business School of The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Based in Hong Kong, he also serves as the Director of the Representative Office of HKU in Vietnam, and is the Founding Member and current President of the Vietnam Chapter of the Association of Information Systems (VAIS). Prof. Phan is a co-founder of Xeptagon, a leading global climate technology solution provider for inter-governmental organizations, governments and enterprises. He is on the consults and on the board of major companies in the US, UK, HK, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia and others. He holds a doctorate from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from MIT.
Prof. Phan has published in top academic journals such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Information Systems Research (ISR), Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research (JMR), IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of the Association of Information Systems (JAIS) as well as leading cases through Harvard Business School Publishing (HBSP) and the Asia Case Research Center (ACRC). He has also published several book chapters, and edited a book on information systems in Vietnam.
